Hatta Has been up watching the Chile earthquake developments since 11:00pm last night.
Not too many were up including myself. After a day of job searching (another disaster), I was out fast asleep. Thanking God for His peace of mind.
As I got up at about 7:00am today I checked my tweets and saw that Hatta and Carlos Amezcua were up all night watching and tweeting the story.
It takes time to assemble teams of people for responses to disasters of any type. Especially near midnight on Friday in the US in Ca. News teams take time to put together too.
A local or regional disaster can then spread to global disaster in an amazingly short time. During the night there are those who are at vigil in prayer and warning others.
The night before our local community lost power for about 4 hours. Not really a big deal. But it could be if you were on a breathing machine and didn’t have a backup generator or something. And hopefully that system is tested in kicks in before you run out of air.
Praying for the people in Chile and their loved ones here in the US and throughout the world as they watch and pray.
Just getting word that Long Beach has had a drop in the harbors water. Where is it going? Out to sea.
